Manny Pacquiao To Retire If He Loses Another Fight

According to Freddie Roach, Manny Pacquiao's trainer, if Pacquiao loses another fight [for a third straight time] he'll advice Pacquiao to retire from boxing.

Pacquiao [54-5-2, 38 KOs] will fight Brandon Rios [31-1-1, 23 KOs] on November 23 in Macau, China. Manny is coming off back-to-back loses, where he lost to controversial split decision last June to Timothy Bradley and he suffered another loss months later [last December] Juan Manuel Marquez.

"If he loses, I will tell him to retire," Roach told ESPN. "If you lose three in a row it's your time. He's up there in age. I've got to keep a close eye on him. It's part of my job to protect him. I will do the right thing."

Pacquiao is 34-years-old and is a politician in the Philippines. Not only does he have other interest in life to look out for, but Roach has felt, for a long time, that Manny's training have suffered due this his other interest outside of boxing.

Many felt that it'll be better for Pacquiao to just simply retire from boxing if he's heart, body, and soul isn't focus on the sport.

Keep in mind that Roach made the claim that he would advise Pacquiao to retire from boxing before his June fight with Timothy Bradley.
