Aaron Hernandez Photo Removed From Pro Football Hall Of Fame [PHOTO]

After receiving complaints from visitors, who visited the Pro Football Hall of Fame, who walked past a photo of former New England Patriots tight-end Aaron Hernandez running for a touchdown against Green Bay Packers cornerback Sam Shields back in 2010 [below], the hall's vice president Joe Horrigan ordered the photo to be removed:

In the spirit of good taste we thought we'd take it down.

The decision marks the latest move by the league and the Patriots to distances themselves from Hernandez, who was released by the team and remains in police custody without bail.

Last weekend, Patriots fans were able to return their No. 81 jerseys and exchange them for any other New England Patriots replica jersey at Gillette Stadium. More than 1,000 people took advantage of the team's offer.

Hernandez is charged for the June 17th shooting death of Odin Lloyd. The tight-end had pleaded not guilty to one count of murder and five gun-related charges.
